The lighthouse keepers’ residence
You may stay over night here in one of three double rooms accommodated for
guests. In addition you share a small library, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and
toilet with the others in the house. Once, two lighthouse keepers and their families
were living here. The so called ’reserve assistant’, a bachelor job, lived in the attic.
The lighthouse tower
Gives you a 360 degree view over the sea and the mountains from a 55 meters
altitude . There are plans to turn the lighthouse tower into a private suite.
The new light
A new light was installed by the Norwegian Coastal Administration in November
2009. It works on solar cells and gives one white flash every 10 seconds.
The boathouse
Is today a storage house and a working place by the harbour.
