Mindfulness in a magic natural environment
We offer courses in a nature environment with great potential for healing.
There will be a summer course this year. The program starts Tuesday afternoon
with departure following Monday.
Time for yourself.
We arrange the program so that you’ll get plenty of time for walks in the island
or time to just sit still and let your thoughts flow, if that is what you need. The
participants help out with a few practicalities like making of the food or the
cleaning up afterwards. The food is basically vegetarian. However, fresh fish
from the area will be used. Alcohol will not be consumed during this course.
Gardening
We also arrange it so that you can participate in various outdoor duties,
depending on the season. Mainly gardening or snow shovelling. However, we take
into consideration that the participants may be tired and vulnerable. We therefore
adapt these activities accordingly.
Day 1
Arrival. Dinner. Presentation of the participants, the program and its goals.
Introduction to Mindfulness. Breathing excercises.
Day 2
06.00-07.00 Soft morning excercises with yoga & meditation
07.00-08.00 Time for yourself. Preparation for breakfast.
08.00-09.30 Quiet breakfast and quiet walk
09.30-11.30 Theory & practice; ’body scanning’, walking meditation and reflections.
11.30-12.30 Preparations for lunch
12.30-13.30 Lunch
13.30-15.00 Time by yourself
15.00-16.00 Meditation & reflection
16.00-17.00 Preparation dinner
17.00-18.00 Dinner
18.00-19.00 Time by yourself
19.00-21.00 Theory & practice. Meditation
21.00-22.00 Tea time
22.00 Quiet in the house
Day 3 - 6 Same structure, different topics
Day 7 Breakfast. Close up ceremony. Departure.
